Greetings! If you are not already familiar with our work, let
us take this opportunity to introduce Renovata Studios Inc. As
the definition suggests, the word "renovata" carries
multiple meanings which, in combination, distinguish our company.
Founded in 1988 by Lawrence Hoy and Peter Scurlock, Renovata Studios
specializes in religious interiors. Hallmarks include:
* liturgical consultation,
* design and fabrication of original interiors, furnishings and
artwork
* restoration of existing interiors, furnishings and artwork.
Over the last fourteen years, our studio has taken great pride
in works which include the sanctuary furniture (Altar, Lectern,
Celebrant's Chair and "con celebrant" seating pictured
on our home page) for Pope John Paul II's Mass in Central Park
and the Papal Throne commissioned for the Vesper Service at St.
Joseph's Seminary, Dunwoodie, Yonkers, NY (October 1995).

ABOUT OUR VISION
A new voice has been heard in the field of liturgical design and
construction since the founding of Renovata Studios in 1988. Its
triumphs range in diversity from the recreation of the original
Art Deco stenciling in the interior of The Shrine Church of St.
Bernadette, Brooklyn, NY to the total reworking of the overall
interior color scheme and liturgical appointments at St. Francis
of Assisi, Mt. Kisco, NY to the sublime beauty of the new public
chapel at Immaculate Conception Monastery, Jamaica Estates, NY.
Renovata has established a new standard of excellence in the design
and construction of religious interiors, furnishings and artwork.
Photos and detailed descriptions of these and many other projects are available on the Awards, Before/After, Current/Past and Portfolio pages of this site. For further information, please contact us via e-mail or at the phone #s (M-F 9am to 5pm EST) listed on our home page.
