Altar
The High Priest Melchizedek celebrated the first Mass on an altar built from stones in the fields. This is the concept for the altar used in Arthur Ashe Stadium for the Jubilee 2000 Mass. In the late morning after all people from throughout the diocese of Brooklyn/Queens have arrived at the stadium, a team of dancer/builders take the "stones" from a pile and build the altar then place the mensa on top. Later in the day, Bishop Daily and the "congregation" of 10,000 people celebrate mass on the altar.
