Blessed Sacrament Chapel
An unfortunate fire and eventual renovation made possible the design of a chapel of reservation separate from the nave. The original tabernacle and throne were restored and a new reredos of oak wood with gold leafed cross was designed to fit the space. The ceiling is recessed to demarcate the space around the tabernacle with subtle lighting illuminating from above. The stained glass window of a pregnant Mary visiting Elizabeth alluded to Mary being the first tabernacle to house Christ's presence. The Benediction Prayers are etched on the windows at either side of the tabernacle.
