Altar

This new stone altar is built from the recomposed marble and bronze gates of the original communion rail. The mensa is a new solid block of "Bethel White" granite with St. Augustine's quotation "Verissimum Sacrificium" carved into the front. Relics of St. Monica, St. Augustine, St. Frances Cabrini, Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha, St. John Neumann and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton are ensconced in the corners. The "Lamb of God" was cast directly from the original marble altar and is gilded with 24k yellow and white gold.
