St. Cabrini Nursing Home Chapel Dobs Ferry, NY

The chapel is the spiritual home for the residents of this nursing home. The altar and ambo are central Eucharistic elements but the tabernacle is also central and visible to all. The tabernacle is central to the contemplative wall of stained glass that is the backdrop for the Eucharistic celebration. The cool colors and moving design of the stained glass are reminiscent of the flowing waters of the Hudson River. The visual connection to the Blessed Sacrament from every location in the chapel makes this place one of contemplation and peace.
